The most important thing is that for decades they have maintained the consistency of the quality of their food. When you open their pink menu, do not be shocked to find over hundreds of dishes that you can choose from. It can be quite overwhelming as for instance they have over 50 different styles of rice dishes, and also over 50 different types of noodles dishes You can choose any random dish on their menu and we can guarantee that they will never say 'oh it's sold out or oh we don't serve that anymore'.
But out of these hundreds of options available, we decided to go for their signature dish which is the 'Bistik Sapi Saus Mentega'. This dish is an Indonesian version of how a steak can be enjoyed with rice. The tender beef is cut into cubes, deep fried and served in their homemade butter soy sauce. You are bound to see almost everyone ordering this dish at the restaurant. Another staple will have to be the 'Lumpia Udang', which is a mouth-watering dish. Instead of the shrimp being rolled in a a rice wrap, this lumpia is cut circular shaped, and then deep fried. You can surely taste the fresh shrimp with the vegetables once you bite into this hot starter. Their Ayam Goreng Mentega, Sapo Tahu and also their various stir fried vegetable dishes are good popular dishes that will leave you satisfied and full.

The Rendezvous Restaurant as we know
it was started in 1948 by Charles Vergos when he discovered a coal chute in the
basement of his diner. The chute acted as a vent, enabling him to set up a
grill. After perfecting his technique, Vergo added ribs to his menu.
